SEO toolkit

A weighted SEO health score, a guided checklist, Search Console updates, and feed health - all in the admin.

The SEO page (/admin/seo) turns search optimisation into a checklist you can actually finish. It scores your storefront, tells you exactly what to fix next, and tracks how you’re doing once you’re live.

SEO health score

At the top is a single 0–100 health score. It’s a weighted average of every check below: a passing check earns its full weight, a warning earns half, and a failing check earns nothing. More important checks carry more weight, so the score reflects real impact, not just how many boxes are ticked.

A summary band shows quick catalogue stats: total products, products missing images, and products missing descriptions.

The checklist (with guiding steps)

Every check comes with a one-line explanation of what to do next and a direct link to the screen where you fix it. The checks, and their relative weight, are:

Warnings (for example, a description that’s slightly too long, or a few products missing images) tell you precisely how many items need attention so you can clear them in one pass.

Off-page checklist

Below the score is a guided off-page checklist - the brand and local signals that live outside your store (Google Business Profile, social profiles, directory listings) with step-by-step instructions for each.

Updates: Search Console & performance

Connect Google Search Console to bring live search data into the admin:

  • Search performance - clicks, impressions, and average position, refreshed on demand with the refresh button.
  • Product performance - your best- and worst-performing products in search, so you know where to invest.

This is how you track progress after the checklist is green - the score gets you set up correctly, Search Console shows the results.

Merchant feed health & previews
