Kitchen board
Live queue for restaurant orders — advance status in one tap.
Restaurant tenants get a Kitchen screen at /admin/kitchen. It shows every active food order for your store and lets you move each one to the next step in the kitchen flow without opening the full order editor.

How the flow works
The next status depends on fulfillment type:
| Type | Steps |
|---|---|
| Delivery | Received → Preparing → Ready → Out for delivery → Completed |
| Pickup | Received → Preparing → Ready → Picked up → Completed |
| Dine-in | Received → Preparing → Ready → Completed |
The board polls every ~20 seconds so new orders appear without a manual refresh. Scheduled orders show an amber “Scheduled for …” banner.
When to use Kitchen vs Orders
- Kitchen — fast line-of-sight during service; one button per card.
- Orders — full detail, customer contact, notes, refunds, and status filters for a specific kitchen step.
Customers see the same steps on their order timeline — shop timelines (Placed → Shipped) are not used for food orders.
