Admin guide
Categories
Taxonomy for catalog filters and the homepage rail.
Categories let you group products. They power:
- Storefront filters on the catalog page.
- Category-specific landing pages.
- The homepage featured rail.
- The fallback algorithm for "Customers also bought" when there's no purchase history yet.
Multi-category
A product can belong to more than one category — list Linen Shirt under both Summer and Men's. The first category in the list is the primary and is the one used for cards that display a single category badge.
Editing
Add, rename, reorder, or delete categories from /admin/categories. Deleting a category does not delete its products; they just lose that category tag.
AI assistance
On a category's edit page you can:
- Generate a category image — create tile imagery from the category name and description, then Set as category image to use it.
- Suggest a description — draft the EN or NL description from your shop's context. Review before saving.
