Payment options
Stripe Checkout (card, iDEAL, Bancontact) and pay-on-delivery.
Each store picks how it accepts payment.
Stripe Checkout
Most NShop stores use Stripe. At checkout you'll be redirected to Stripe's hosted page where you can pay with:
- Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- iDEAL (NL)
- Bancontact (BE)
Stripe handles 3-D Secure, saves the card if you ask it to, and sends the receipt. As soon as payment succeeds, you bounce back to the store with your order confirmation, and the order is created automatically.
Manual / pay-on-delivery
Some stores accept cash on delivery or bank transfer. When you check out you'll see payment instructions and the seller's contact details. Your order is created in pending payment state. The admin flips it to paid once they've received funds, and you get an email with the update.
Guest checkout
You don't need an account to check out. NShop will tag your order to your email so you can come back and view it later. You can also create an account afterwards and have past orders link automatically when you sign in.
Multi-store payments
Each store has its own Stripe account (via Stripe Connect Express). Your payment goes to that store directly; the NShop platform takes a small application fee from the merchant side. Refunds reverse both the transfer and the application fee in one call.
