Language

NShop ships with English (en) and Dutch (nl) out of the box. Switch locales from the menu in the top-right of any page.

What changes when you switch:

• Every text label in the UI.
• The currency formatter and date format.
• The transactional emails the store sends you.
• The AI chat assistant — it replies in your selected language.

What doesn't change:

• Product titles and descriptions — those are whatever the store typed. Some stores keep both; some don't.
• The currency itself — that's set per store, not per locale.

Locale is sticky: NShop remembers your choice for next time. The URL also encodes it (/nl/..., /en/...), so links you share carry the language through.
