Your account

Your NShop account works on every store on the platform. From the Account menu you can:

• Edit your name, email, phone.
• Change password / connected sign-in methods.
• Manage saved addresses.
• Download all your data (GDPR export).
• Delete your account.

Addresses

Save as many addresses as you like; mark one as default. The autocomplete helps you enter them quickly:

• Netherlands: type your postcode and house number — the street and city fill in automatically via postcode.tech.
• Other EU countries: start typing; suggestions come from Geoapify and complete the rest of the address.

Both lookups are proxied through the NShop server, so no third-party API keys ever reach your browser.

GDPR export

Click Download my data. NShop generates a JSON file with every order, review, wishlist entry, address, and profile field tied to your account. You get the file as a download.

Deleting your account

When you delete your account:

1. Your profile, addresses, wishlist, and reviews are removed.
2. Your past orders are kept (legal retention) but the personal data on them is replaced with [deleted]. The order itself remains valid for accounting.
3. A privacy-audit record is written so the store can prove compliance.

The action is permanent. If you want to come back, you'll start with a fresh account.
